Position Description:
Key Roles & Responsibilities
This position requires an analytical, detail oriented professional who can:
· Accurately and efficiently prepare client reports spanning performance, trading activity, portfolio valuation and risk metrics. Analyse portfolio data including qualitative and quantitative performance attribution. Continually building understanding of underlying market factors to complete more qualitative, complex investment analyses.
· Support the Account Management team through the provision of market and portfolio data, work with internal groups such as fund administration, operations and compliance teams
· Handle ongoing automation of growing reporting requirements and streamlining of the reporting process.
· Providing support for identifying new business development opportunities (i.e. investors, asset pools, channels), driving marketing/sales campaigns, and preparing for finals presentations and closing business
· Develop and maintain a variety of different types of materials to support new business development, existing business and other marketing campaigns
· Provide current insight regarding the firm and product specific investment philosophy, process, strategy, performance and other relevant information directly or indirectly to clients, prospective clients and consultants
· Support and oversee campaign management, client communications, webcast, events
Qualifications:
· Robust knowledge of macroeconomics, fixed income and derivative instruments is a must.
· Self-motivated. Demonstrate sound business judgement, project management and multi-tasking skills.
· Commitment to quality and attention to detail; ensure that all work is delivered completed, accurately, and on time.
· Effective communication skill is essential given the frequent level of client interaction.
· Actively listen and ask questions to determine and meet customer needs; go beyond normal job responsibilities to indirectly satisfy the customer.
· Flourish in a challenging, fast-paced, professional environment with frequent shifts in priorities as business needs dictate.
· Strong sense of integrity, behaving consistently with expressed values and ethical principles of the firm.

· Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Comfortable with software applications in general, including but not limited to index-provider databases, query tools and Bloomberg.
Education:
· Must possess at least an Undergraduate Degree in Business, Finance or Economics and demonstrate an interest in progressing toward a CFA.
Languages:
· Fluency in English & Mandarin (oral & written).
Experience:
· One to three years of finance-related experience preferred (ideally in the fixed income or investment management).
· College internships in a financial, client-oriented role will be considered in lieu of employment experience. Ideal candidates are familiar with fixed income markets and macroeconomics, currency and derivative instruments.

Position Description
We are seeking a Credit Research Analyst to work in our Singapore or Hong Kong offices. Credit Research Analysts analyze various industries and the companies within them and make investment recommendations to PIMCO's portfolio managers group. They also provide analytical support for the firm's portfolio managers by highlighting risks and making investment recommendations on specific companies. This analyst would:
Maintain primary coverage on telecom/industrial/ infrastructure sectors to identify secular and cyclical trends and make bond recommendations for portfolio managers within the firm
Provide assistance to other credit analysts on financial modelling, credit commentary, background check and other aspects of research work
Conduct ad-hoc research projects for the APAC credit research team
Position Requirements:
Requirements
Associate level (junior or senior)
Having 2-5 years of work experience in the investment field, preferably in loan or credit space
Have basic understanding of financial accounting and modelling skills
Having knowledge of domestic bond / loan market in India is preferred
Hard working and a team player, able to multi-task and work under fast-pace environment
Based in either Hong Kong or Singapore reporting to the Head of Credit Research, APAC
