Barings’ Emerging Equities Team is seeking an Investment Analyst for the HK/China Investment team. This role will provide coverage on industry research, A and H shares, analyze and recommend to purchase, sell or hold equities. The Investment Analyst will be required to keep the Portfolio Managers updated for actionable buy-sell ideas
Primary Responsibilities
Assessing opportunities on your coverage sectors based on rigorous bottom-up fundamental research
Create and maintain financial models of the targeted companies; clearly present ground work materials and conclusions to the PM and wider investment team during internal discussions or meetings when needed.
Review and organize data, synthesize information, identify trends, interpret company and industry data to develop detailed financial models on covered companies
Analyse economic developments, monitor trends in the various sectors of the economy, and provide forecasts of changes in business conditions and relationships
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher is required
Fluency in both Mandarin and English, excellent oral and written communication skills
3-5 years’ experience in investment or research analyst related roles covering Hong Kong and/or China equity markets, experience in Healthcare sector preferred
Highly independent thinker, sound judgement and analytical skills, strong interpersonal skills and information collection capability
Has initiative and is self-motivated, eager to learn, and interested in taking on new challenges to enhance coverage and build relationships internally and externally

3.参与项目投后管理工作，跟踪项目运营情况，控制项目风险；
4.完成公司交办的其他工作。
任职资格
1.40岁以下，5年以上工作经验（经理岗3年以上），在新能源、新材料、先进装备制造、“双碳”等行业具有行业资源、项目资源者优先；有大型（专业）投资机构相关领域项目FA、投资经验者优先；
2.熟悉股权投资、并购业务，具有证券从业资格、基金从业资格；
3.了解国家相关法律法规政策;具有较丰富的行业、投资知识及经验;
4.具有较强市场开拓能力、研究分析能力、商务谈判能力、沟通协调能力以及良好的文字表达能力；
5.具有强烈的事业心和追求成功的欲望，有良好的执行力及团队合作精神。

The Role:
To develop an onshore China Fixed Income capability with the following goals
Responsible for managing onshore Fixed Income products under Fund Management Company (FMC) and achieve investment performance objectives for China onshore Fixed Income funds
Based on AB global Fixed Income investment process, construct and apply the investment process for China Fixed Income investment
Proactively and effectively provide timely updates to global Fixed Income team on onshore fixed income markets and macro-economic developments
Work in conjunction with product specialists and distribution functions to design and develop onshore AB Fixed Income products
Lead development of operational functions to support onshore Fixed Income capacity
Represent AB Fixed Income in China and assist with brand building and business opportunities
While the position is for a China Fixed Income specialist, the candidate will be expected to play an important and collaborative role within AB’s regional and global Fixed Income teams.
Qualifications:
Native Mandarin speaker
Strong communication in English
Minimum 5years experience in Fixed Income markets including Rates, Credit and Foreign Exchange. Portfolio management, credit research or Investment strategy experience preferred.
Direct experience and knowledge of onshore China Bond market preferred; onshore licensed preferred
Strong written and verbal presentation skills
Undergraduate university qualification (minimum) preferably with an economics, or finance focus.
Responsibilities:
Manage China bond fund together with HK Fixed Income PM team
Help formulate China rates and credit strategy for domestic, regional and global portfolios
Lead the development of an onshore Fixed Income fund
Lead the building of an onshore Fixed Income portfolio and trading platform.
Represent Alliance Bernstein Fixed income at industry and market related forums.
