Many Westerners can’t tell us apart. Here’s a case in point. When Coco Lee passed away last week, this is the headline we saw on one major western media.
Any Asian can tell you these are two different persons. Many Asians will tell you the one on the right is Coco Lee, and the one on the right is Yifei Liu. Yet, someone who works in media for a living cannot tell us apart.
Or perhaps they simply don’t care enough about Asians to care.
