Today - May 23 枪口抬高一厘米是你的自由

May 23, 1960
Israeli Prime Minister announced that Nazi war criminal Adolf Eichmann had been captured and would stand trial.
*Eichmann was captured by Mossad (摩萨德)agents in Argentina on 11 May 1960.
*Adolf Eichmann was one of the major organizers of the Holocaust.

The moral?
Anyone in a criminal gang who thinks they are just following orders will not escape punishment for "following evil orders.”

It is your duty to follow orders, but it is your freedom and conscience to miss the shot by raising your gun by one centimeter.
Today is
World Turtle Day
World Turtle Day was started in 2000 by American Tortoise Rescue (ATR).

Did you know the difference between tortoise and turtle?
• Turtles (海龟)can live in the water and on the land. Their average life is 40 years.
• Tortoises (陆龟)only live on the land. They can live up to 300 years or longer.
One of my former colleagues is a tortoise maniac.
He says he doesn't have the heart to see his pets die before he does.  Tortoises will outlive everyone in his family.
That's a funny logic - he forgot any living beings could die from disease or accident, even tortoises.
*Because the pictures of real turtles and tortoises are not eye-pleasing to everyone, I haven't inserted any photos today for this section.
