The government of Germany—then under the control of the National Socialist
Party (Nazi)—formed a new state-owned automobile company, then known as
Gesellschaft zur Vorbereitung des Deutschen Volkswagens mbH.
Later that
year, it was renamed simply Volkswagenwerk, or “The People’s Car
Company.” (history.com)

Today is
National Hamburger Day
(the U.S.)
Originating in Hamburg, Germany, the hamburger has become America's most iconic food.
I guess one may describe something "as American as hamburger" to coin a phrase after "as American as apple pie."
I had my best hamburger in Sydney, Australia. It was at a small diner in Victoria Park beside the Sydney Opera house.
Chicken burger...
Oh boy, I left my heart and stomach there.
Did you know?
Hamburgers weren’t popular until they were introduced at the St. Louis World’s Fair in 1904.
Hamburgers were known during World War II as “Liberty Sandwiches” in an attempt to avoid using German names.
Mcdonald's sells 75 hamburgers every second.
Americans eat over 50 billion burgers a year.
However, most people eat hamburgers the wrong way.第675期:99.9%的人吃汉堡的方法都是错的
If you still think the hamburger is junk food. Don't be silly. You haven't eaten real hamburgers.

Alfred Adler, the Austrian medical doctor, psychotherapist, and founder of the school of individual psychology, died at age 67.
If you want to read Adler, I recommend two books:
Caution: The only danger with reading philosophy books is what Mark Twain once said, "the more you know about human beings, the more you like dogs."
Enjoy reading and thinking.
"Follow your heart, but take your brain with you."
