Benz在香港译作“平治”，台湾译为“宾士”，大陆译作“奔驰”。

Harlan Ellison, the American writer famous for speculative fictions and science fictions, died at age 84.
If you haven't heard of him, check this out:
In his lifetime, he had published more than 1,700 short stories, novellas, screenplays, comic book scripts, teleplays, and essays.
He had won numerous awards, including multiple Hugos, Nebulas, and Edgars.
*The Hugo Award 雨果奖（世界科幻文学最高奖项），关键是此公一生获了8个雨果奖！
*The Nebula Awards 星云奖（美国科幻文学最高奖项）
*The Edgar Allan Poe Awards （Edgar Award）埃德加·艾伦·坡奖（美国推理作家协会创办的文学奖，1946年起）
Ellison 是我最喜欢的美国当代推理小说家，此人太多产，作品太多，获奖太多，令人不知从何处开始。
如果你实在想读他的书，我建议从 Strange Wine 开始。是1978年出版的Harlan Ellison短篇小说集，被Steven King盛赞。

我当年好像就是看到他的这句名言后开始关注他的。
最后跟你讲一件他的轶事。
1951年，Ellison开始了大学生活，俄亥俄州立大学。但只上了一年半，大二下学期（1953年）就被学校开除了，原因是教写作的教授批评他写的东西不好，他不爽，打了教授，于是被勒令退学。
从此以后，他每发表一篇小说就寄给这个教授。一直寄了40多年，乐此不疲，从未间断。
就是这么一个睚眦必报的人。结过五次婚，一生桀骜不驯，才华横溢，恣意妄为，口无遮拦，自在快活得一塌糊涂。
