Captain James Cook and his crew completed their first voyage
and returned to England.
In his lifetime, Captain Cook made three voyages between
1768 and 1779 in the Pacific Ocean (to New Zealand and Australia in
particular).

Cook lived an eventful life and died on a romantic date, the Valentine’s
Day in 1779, aged 50.
