William Boeing and George Conrad Westervelt incorporated Pacific Aero Products and later renamed it, Boeing.
Today is
Celebration of The Horse Day
(in the U.S.)
I love horses, even though I haven’t had one.
I love dogs,
but I don’t own one either.
It doesn’t stop me from loving them, though.
Ask anyone if they love money.
Not everyone has much, right?
Everyone still loves money.
Last month, I wrote a Haiku about horse. It’s one of my
favorite Haikus that I have written.
Haiku: Where is my horse?
If I have a horse,
We’ll amble; but I don’t, so –
I saunter; free rein.
佛老自译:
(俳句) 我的马呢?
若有一匹马
一起飞奔;但没有——
独漫步,无缰。
I have made a mental note to raise a real horse in this
life - when I am old, after retirement, in a free place, with my love, my dog,
my horse, and my books.

Anton Chekhov, “the Russian playwright and short-story
writer who is considered to be one of the greatest writers of all time” (Wikipedia),
died at age 44.
“If you could only read books of one writer, read Chekhov.” – Fuolao.
But let me warn you – reading Chekhov is painful. Be aware
and be prepared.
If you don’t know where to start with his works, read this:

“When a person is born, he
can embark on only one of three roads of life: if you go right, the wolves will
eat you; if you go left, you’ll eat the wolves; if you go straight, you’ll eat
yourself.”
“We live not in order to
eat, but in order not to know what we feel like eating.”
“I myself smoke, but my wife asked me to speak today on the
harmfulness of tobacco, so what can I do? If it’s tobacco, then let it be tobacco.”
- On the Harmfulness of Tobacco (1886)
Oh boy, don’t get me started quoting
Chekhov. I just can't stop.
