In November 2019, the first time I stood in front of this famous painting of the Berlin Wall relic, I cried.
It felt like a previous life, chilly, remote, but real.

Obon (お盆) is a Japanese Buddhist custom to honor the spirits of one's ancestors, similar to Mexico’s Day of the Dead and China’s Ghost Festival.
It’s the second most important festival and public holiday, after the New Year only, in Japan.
