昨天是鲁迅先生逝世的第86个年头。当年，盖棺的旗帜上绣着“民族魂”（Our National Soul）三个大字。
我们的成长过程中鲁迅的名字是不会缺席的，毕竟九年义务教育中入选课本的鲁迅作品真的不少。对他的印象从开始时书上那带着穿透性目光、以笔为刀的历史伟人，渐渐丰富成表情包里的互联网嘴替、是终于能读懂《野草》的颓唐却也能从中汲取勇气、是《觉醒年代》中立着“不干了”的牌子站在大街上的热血干饭人、是个探讨真理，打破秩序，思考独立的顶有趣，顶可爱的人。
人什么时候真正的死去，有一种说法认为当他消失在所有人的记忆之中时，才是真正的逝世。对于鲁迅我们每个人都有自己的印象，也许并不全面，可能不甚正确，但这是个不会被轻易忘记，值得敬佩与赞扬的“真实”的人。

think the world of 指的是 to have an extremely high opinion of someone or something; to be very fond of or greatly admire someone or something.
对某人或某事评价极高，印象极好；非常喜欢或钦佩仰慕。想文艺一些的话，可以翻译成“认为 ... 是我的全世界”。

pedestal 的意思是“基座，底座”。而将某人或某事“置于神坛之上”可以用短语 put somebody on a pedestal 来形容，指异常崇拜的意思。
To believe or behave as if someone or something is perfect, wonderful, or better than others, to the extent that one is unable to see its potential flaws or faults.
相信或表现得好像某人或某物是完美的、奇妙的或优于他人的，以致于看不到其潜在的缺陷或缺点。

be in awe of 是一个很古老的短语，据说，这个表达大约起源于公元1000年，它最初的意思是“害怕某事或某人”。后来，awe 的意思转变为“夹杂着尊敬的恐惧”，渐渐的只意味“尊敬”。所以 be in awe of 的意思就是“对…心怀敬畏”。
To have an overwhelming amount of respect or admiration for someone or something, sometimes to the point of feeling nervous or fearful around them or it.
对某人或某物无比尊重和敬畏，以至于有时在他们或它身边感到紧张或害怕。

I've always been in awe of people who dedicate their lives to something like the military.
我一直敬畏那些把一生奉献给军队的人。
marvel at

没错就是漫威的那个 marvel，marvel at (someone or something) 指的是“惊叹于(某人或某事)、留下深刻印象”。

I can only marvel at Valerie and all she has accomplished.
