1.cross a line 越过这条线/过分了:
You crossed a line here.(You crossed the line here)你过分了;
There’s a line you should never cross. 有一条线你永远不应该越过。
Don’t cross that line. 别越过这条线/别过分了
2. cross someone 挑衅某人:
Don’t cross me again. 别惹我/不要挑衅我。
(mess with me…惹我/ fuck with me.. F with me 惹我)
load:
1. load something 装....:
Have you loaded the truck? 你有没有把卡车装满？
I gotta load the ship. 我得去把轮船的货给装满。
2. load… with…把...装到...:
Load the truck with these bikes. 把这些自行车装在卡车上。
3. load something 装上:
Load the gun.子弹上膛。
be loaded: Your gun’s not loaded. 你的枪没上膛呢。
4. unload 卸货:
Unload the truck. 把卡车的货搬下来。
I want you to finish unloading by tomorrow. 我需要你最晚明天完成卸货。
5. upload 上传:
upload this video; 把这个视频上传；
6. download 下载:
download a movie; 下载这个电影；
7. a load of…/loads of…很多:
I got a load of work to do. 我有很多工作要做。
I got loads of work to do. 我有很多工作要做。
a load of students; loads of students. 很多学生。
8. loaded 喝多了/有钱 :
Don’t listen to him. He’s loaded. 别听他的，他喝多了。
I got a friend who’s very loaded (with money).我有个朋友超级有钱。
I’m loaded with money. 我很有钱。
