我们先来听一段录音，看看能听懂多少？

.如果“Those who came before us” 能听出来却不懂什么意思? 说明基础太差，平时阅读太少；.如果“ the first waves of ” 听得似懂非懂，那是因为对习语比较陌生；.如果“ founder，backwash” 听不懂，也看不懂，说明词汇量不足。
如果上面3个“如果”都存在，那当然是无法听懂这段话的。

小小的一段语音，就告诉了我们为什么英语听力差啦！我们能否听得懂，看得懂，都必须基于我们的大脑里已存储有相关信息的前提下。比如：哈奇士，钱，买，宠店物，我去。就这么一句说得乱七八糟的话，我们为什么能听懂这句话呢？因为我们大脑里已经存储有“宠物店”，“哈士奇”，“购买”等这些概念，所以，即使一个口齿不清的人，说一段乱序的，发音不标准的话，我们依然能听懂他说什么，因为我们知道他表述的意思肯定能够是这样的：我要去宠物店买条哈士奇。
我们能听懂这些语无伦次的信息，因为我们对这个场景的表述很熟悉，知道该如何说，我们的大脑会用正确的答案自动去覆盖这些含糊不清的表述。
如何去做才能像上面这样呢，第一步就是去达成基本的阅读能力，这样才能做得到海量的信息输入，在大脑里建立起具有逻辑关系的各种概念，在这样的前提下，即使是无声的影像，无文字的图画等，我们都能看得懂；当我们大脑里存储的声音信息与生活中相关事物建立对应关系时，我们也就能听懂别人说什么，听懂别人讲的故事！如果故事中某些环节你没听懂，那就说明这块信息在你大脑里是空白的。
语言学习要遵循如下规律：■语言学习要从听开始，这样才能打通语音与文字之间的连接；■语言学习要以句子为单位进行输入输出，而非单词！这样去学，才能掌握单词的用法，这样去学，英语就会变得简单起来！■语言属于类运动型知识，仅仅背单词，看看书，刷刷题是远远不够的，需要去训练才能掌握！这跟弹钢琴的道理是一样的，看看书，看看乐谱就会弹钢琴？
