3、Joey: (To Monica) Okay! Look-look-look, uh, if you’re gonna be moving in with him I feel it’s my responsibility to tell you the truth about him! Okay? He’s a terrible roommate! Terrible! 7、Ross: Oh yknow what, girls dont like it when I start talking about science. Uh, they dont like it when you correct their grammar. Chandler: And they dont like it when you explain why your jokes are funny. 8、Phoebe: Thats okay Rachel. Im not judging you; thats just who you are. Me. Im more free yknow? I run like I did when I was a kid, cause thats the only way its fun. 菲比真的是自然率性的典范，丝毫不在乎外人的眼光，跑起来像青蛙，是因为这是她自己唯一觉得有趣的跑法，就像这样怪里怪气的做人，可能是她唯一觉得有趣的活法吧。后来瑞秋也这么跑，则不是源于个性，而是对朋友的肯定和支持了。
12、Chandler: I don’t wanna know what Monica got me. Y’know? 14、Chandler: If you need money, will you please-please just let me loan you some money? 乔伊穷得停了有线，断了电话，钱德勒很诚恳地要帮他。 说来惭愧，毕业以后，小可一直十分窘迫，在此谢谢帮助过我的那些钱德勒，并期待自己的big break，来回报大伙儿。
15、Rachel: Yes, we are very sorry to tell you this, but you, Phoebe, are flaky. Monica: Hah! “菲比，你是个怪物。” Phoebe: That true, I am flaky. “是的，我是神神叨叨的。” 菲比说莫尼卡强迫症，说瑞秋老好人，引起了公愤，她俩一起攻击菲比举止怪异，菲比却坦然接受了。 人们总是不乐意听到指责，特别是这些指责正中要害的时候。若是我们都有菲比的态度，问题一定能简单很多。
16、Joey: (sitting at the kitchen table with his back to the TV) You sick bastards! 大家一起看“菲比”主演的A片，只有乔伊背对着屏幕，坚持不肯看。（怪不得菲比的每个“阴谋”里都剩下乔伊，小可爱，阿姨没白疼你）。 当他知道这其实是厄苏拉饰演的的时候，迫不及待的跳过去，要求重放一遍他错过的镜头。
17、Chandler: (crying hysterically) I just don’t see why those two can’t work things out! 石头人钱德勒终于哭了，原因是感慨罗斯和瑞秋这一对如此般配的人为什么不能在一起。瑞秋的妹妹勾引罗斯报复瑞秋，罗斯止住了诱惑，因为他突然想到：如果他和洁儿发生了什么，以后就再也不能跟瑞秋发生什么了。他不确定以后能否跟瑞秋再在一起，但是他不想放弃、破坏这方面哪怕只有万分之一的可能。
18、Joey: Yes! Yes!! And every time you look at it, I want you to remember that you are a good person. Okay, you’ve had the chance to cheat, and with me, but you didn’t. And that’s what this ring stands for. “瑞秋，我把这枚戒指送给你，每次你看到它你都要想到你是个好姑娘，你有机会搞婚外情，但是你没有……”

20、Phoebe: (entering from her room) Hey, did she buy it? “他相信了吗？” Chandler: Totally. “一点都没怀疑。” Phoebe: I can’t believe you’re gonna ask Monica to marry you! “天哪，你要向莫尼卡求婚了呀！” 莫尼卡预订了结婚场地，向来惧婚如命的钱德勒被吓跑了，找回来后，莫尼卡反复向他道歉才安抚好他的情绪。莫尼卡走后，菲比从卧室出来，揭穿了钱德勒的“阴谋”，看到这里，相信没有人不跟着罐头声音大声欢呼吧。
21、Chandler: Sir, can I ask you to umm, could you…hold out that ring and ask me to marry you? “先生，你能拿着这枚戒指问我愿不愿意嫁给你吗？” 在爱的前提下，有时候越愚蠢，越动人。
22、Chandler: When I looked at the other ring I could see Monica’s face when I gave it to her, y’know? And I could see her saying yes. When I look at this ring, all I see is a ring!
