Young children often play it to avert boredom in long journeys.
It's called "I spy". What you do is you pick an item that is visible to everyone and you say "I spy with my little eyes, something beginning with..." You would then say the initial letter of that item. For example for 'drivers' you would say "....something beginning with D"
I didn't know about this game until I came over to England
It's a good way to pass time and to get everyone involved!
