British people love to bake cakes, cookies, muffins, cupcakes and pies... et
They would often bake at home, purely out of interest.
The picture below is showing a "Cake Sale" which is when you bring in homemade cakes, cookies, cupcakes and muffines etc and you would sell them for like 50p, or 70p. Usually the money would go towards a charity or a good cause such as "Children in Need" and "Sport Relief"
British people not only love baking them, they also love eating them!! haha!
I had a Cake Sale back in February with my friends for our 'educational trip next year'. It was during an event in school and there were a lot of teachers, parents and children. It was very successful because the cakes were delicious and some of the people even gave us more money than they need to. For example, they brought a slice of cake for £1 but they gave us £5 for it because it was going towards a good cause!
As I've said, a lot of Birtish people are nice!
