You are learning language wrong(why most people fail)

It's kinda like just looking for the exact piece that matches with the previous one and forgetting to explore the rest of the puzzle.

Our relationship with the language should be more about living it than studying it.

Mistake:   Focusing too much minor things and seeking perfection

Imagine this scenario: You really like someone, but there's no way they can approach you

Imagine this scenario: You really like someone, but there's no way they can approach you  ,and if you don't make a move.
It's never gonna happen, It's kinda like the same thing here with language learning, If you're too shy to express yourself,
If you let your fears take control of  your actions, or if you just wati until everything is perfectly aligned. then it will be very difficult for you to get what you want and become who you want to be.

In this life, we gotta take risks and understand that it's natural to make mistakes
It happens to everybody and actually . It's one of the best ways to learn.

If you think that you should master things like having a perfect grammar, getting rid of your accent  and starting thinking automatically without any blanks before you actually start using the language for real, then you're mistaken.

let's yourself make mistakes, exposing yourself more and more to the real world  are the keys for you to get enough experience to feel comfortable and confident with the language.

I totally get that it could be embarrassing and intimidating (尴尬和恐怖的)we're not in our comfort zone.

But overcoming our fears is more rewarding than you think.

Besides, a lot of people out there are supportive and understanding
For many of us, when a foreigner is trying to learn our language, we feel flattered

we don't care about their mistakes or their accent, as long as we understand them,
remember this is not your native language.

Everything is much worse here than in real life.  here -> point to  your head.

Not Balancing the four skills

read , understand /but speak

I can't really tell how many times I've heard something like this: ''

First, you started to learn by reading , because it felt easier and it was more comfortable. then you started listening and only later on you tried some writing, which was a little challenging already...

reading   => listening => writing => speaking   it was a disaster

repeating after what other people are saying to even talking to AI
recording yourself and comparing to native speakers.

A very wise man once said:
' Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results'

Seting unrealistic Expectations and comparing yourself with others.

Let me  tell you this first and foremost: It doesn't matter how good, fast and effective someone's method is.

At the end of the day , the process of learning a language takes time. This is not something that you can nail in a matter of days or weeks.

Stop it ,and get some help

I'm not saying that you can't make impressive remarkable progress in a short period of time. You sure can!

inevitable

Everyone has their own pace and their own time. This is not a race and there's not a finishing line.
This is a journey in which you're going to improve each and every day.

Be patient, be consistent and you're going to succeed.

I give you my word ,  You can do it!   It's just a matter of time. Keep going and never give up!
