Harry could have been forgiven for entering his third year at Hogwarts feeling a bit nervous, particularly given the way his first two Defence Against the Dark Arts teachers had turned on him previously. However, those worries are immediately extinguished when he meets Remus Lupin on the train ride in.

She also fights in the Battle of Hogwarts and protects the students during Lord Voldemort's bloodthirsty reign of control so, while she isn't in the movies much, she's deserving on a place on this list.
