In the whole Harry Potter series, Neville is a person who is often ignored by teachers and classmates. He is not gifted with magical ability, and he is forgetful-his grandmother even gave him a Remembrall.

The curse fails when Voldemort accidentally rebounds while casting a death spell on infant Harry Potter. Harry's survival earned him the nickname "The Boy who Lived," and it was the beginning of his battle with Voldemort. In the final installment, he sacrifices himself to destroy the shards of Voldemort inside him.

Trelawney, the Divination professor, did not mention that the son of Prophecy was Harry.

Harry and Neville were both born at the end of the seventh month, and their parents, both members of the Order of the Phoenix, had defeated Voldemort three times in the war against him, so there was no difference between them. In the end, they all possess powers that the Dark Lord does not understand.
哈利和纳威都出生在第七个月月末，他们的父母都是凤凰社的成员，曾经在对抗伏地魔的战争中三次击败伏地魔，从这一点上来看，两个孩子并没有差别。最后，他们都拥有黑魔王所不了解的能量。
At this point, Divination Professor Trelawney did not mention that the son of Prophecy was Harry or Neville. There is someone in the prophecy. It could be anyone. It could even be that both boys are the children of the prophecy.

Some have suggested that while Neville may have been the chosen one, Harry only survived the Killing curse because of his mother's sacrifice, which led to the Protection Curse that saved Harry.

If Voldemort had chosen Neville, he would not have survived Voldemort's murder when he was a child.

Some believe that Nagini was indeed the last Horcrux, in that order. And it was Neville who dealt Voldemort the fatal blow, so he was the son of Prophecy.
而有的人认为，按照顺序，纳吉尼确实是最后一个魂器。而给伏地魔致命一击的是纳威，所以他才是那个预言之子。
