如果你读过原著就会发现，和《哈利·波特》电影中的大多数角色一样，电影中的罗恩也有很多未展示的信息。
Hermione and Harry's mother are both Muggle-born, so both of them are prejudiced. Ron comes from a pure-blood family. In fact, the Weasleys are members of the "Sacred Twenty-Eight".
赫敏和哈利的母亲都是麻瓜出身，两人都因此受到了偏见。而罗恩来自一个纯血统的家庭，事实上，韦斯莱一家是“二十八圣族”的一员。
Weasleys are sorry and dissatisfied with being one of the twenty-eight pure blood families, because they have been interested in the Muggle world for a long time. Errol, the Weasleys' owl, was prone to crashing into Windows and had a hard time delivering the mail, so congratulations Ron got his new owl.

Both Harry and Ron are interested in becoming Auror. Students had to get a certain number of points in their O.W.L. exams and then pass a series of tests after graduation to become Auror. Although Ron always neglects his homework, he also becomes an Auror after the Battle of Hogwarts.
