Sir Alexander Fleming, the Scottish physician and microbiologist, died at age 73.
Fleming shared the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1945 with Howard Florey and Ernst Boris Chain for discovering penicillin(盘尼西林;青霉素)。
