Remember what your mom warned you when you were mimicking people stammering, especially on a rainy day? You do it again, and you will become a stammerer too.
Many parents don’t stop their children from imitating people’s disabilities because it is immoral but because they superstitiously believe it will inflict the same speech disorder on their children. It is not an education of love that makes children understand it’s rude to stare at people for their differences. It is only a selfish threat to intimidate children from unruly behaviors. What will you do if you see your children mocking stammering people?
Ask them to stop and tell them why.
It is the first step in the education on civility.
