Today is National Hugging Day.
National Hugging Day was created in 1986 by Kevin Zaborney.
Did you know?
The word "hug" originated from the old Norse word "hugga," meaning comfort.
Science discovers a hug over 20 seconds will increase oxytocin levels (the feel-good hormone) and reduce the blood pressure of the huggers.
That is why hugging is physiologically healthy.

George Orwell (real name Eric Arthur Blair), the English novelist and critic, died at age 46.
Orwell is my FAVORITE English writer, bar none.
If you want to read Orwell, I recommend starting with Animal Farm, then 1984.
