make one's blood boil 表面的意思看起来像是让XXX的血液沸腾，用中文理解不难误以为是热血沸腾的意思，但实际上，还真不是这么解释的。

make one's blood boil 真正的意思是：cause one to feel extremely angry，也就是说“使某人感到极度愤怒”。

nerve 的意思是“神经”，get on one's last nerve 的意思就是：irritate or annoy one in a way that will likely up to the limit of one's patience，翻译过来就是“以一种挑战忍耐极限的方式去激怒或惹恼某人”

上面这个例句中，flip over 显然是因愤怒而失去控制的意思，但不要忘记了，flip over 还有另一个意思“过于兴奋”。
