实际上make water是英语口语中“小便、尿尿”的含蓄一点的表达方式，所以如果误解它的意思实在是尴尬。当然，这种说法在正式的商务场合并不适用。

① pee-pee/wee-wee
非正式，小朋友、幼儿说“尿尿”会用叠音词。
Mommy, I wanna pee-pee.
妈咪， 我想尿尿了。
② take a leak/have a pee/go for a pee/take a pee
成人，常男性使用，尤其是第一个。leak做名词，有“泄漏；漏洞”之意。
Can we stop at the next gas station? I need to take a leak.
我们可以在下一个加油站停一下车吗？我要上一下厕所。
I need to pee.
我要撒尿。
③ go number one
number one有“上厕所”的意思。但number one除了指上厕所，还可以指“头号人物”或“自己”这两个含义，英语中的look out for number one并不是在说“小心第一名”，而是指“照顾自己”，也就是take care of myself only的意思。
Frank is completely selfish - he only cares about number one.
弗兰克极端自私——他只在乎自己。
She's still the world number one in tennis.
她仍然是世界头号网球选手。
④ powder my nose
是“补妆”的意思，借补妆表示自己要去洗手间，至于补不补妆就可以自行理解啦。
Excuse me, I need to powder my nose.
抱歉，我需要去补补妆。
⑤ 除以上之外，可以用这些词汇表达：bathroom/restroom/toilet/ladies' room/men's room
Wait a moment - I just need to go to the bathroom.
等一下，我要去厕所。
If you want to go to the toilet, do so now.
如果要上厕所现在就去。
