Why you Understand English But Can't Speak Fluently

Do you ever wonder why you can understand a lot of english but not communicate fluently?

Well, I recently got this comment on a YouTube video from someone named Yahyo.
from YouTube

If you have this problem, it's NOT your fault.

I truly believe that anyone can become a fluent speaker of English, but that traditional schools make communication very difficult.

The real problem is that traditional lessons put extra steps between you and the English.

Steps like rule memorization, confusing explanations and translations.
to say

So when you try to speak, you must reverse these steps, making you lose your words, think and translate in conversations.

what do I try/want to talk/say/speak?

Now, there is actually a very simple solution to the common problem, but before I share it, here's a quick quiz:

Question 1.
Can you name 10 Will Smith movies? I'll give you a few seconds.

Question 2.
Which of these 10 Will Smith movies do you like?
Will Smith

The second question was a lot easier than the first, right?

Try two more questions:

1. Will Smith's latest movie is Aladdin. What movie did he appear in right before Aladdin?

2. Do you think the visual effects in the new Aladdin movie look real or fake?

Again, the second question was much easier than the first.

So what movie did Will Smith appear in before Aladdin?

An Indian movie called Student of the year 2

Now, you likely didn't know that, even if you're a Will Smith fan, but can you remember what you had for lunch two days ago?

Even recent things in our own lives are difficult to recall.

But we can very easily recognize things when we have options to choose from.

This is why shopping websites show you your search history, and why a cooking site might show you some meals to choose, rather than ask you to remember your favorite foods.

So what does all this mean for English learners like you?

When you listen or read, you're recognizing information.

But when you speak, you must recall information instantly to communicate without hesitation.
hesitation英 [ˌhezɪˈteɪʃn]   美 [ˌhezɪˈteɪʃn]  n.犹豫;疑虑;不情愿

See why so many people can understand what I'm saying right now but not speak like I do?

You already know how hard it is to recall information, even with things in your language in your life.

But do you now understand why fluent communication becomes even more difficult when you add the extra steps of traditional English lessons? So what's the solution?

With time, you can become an automatic speaker by learning conversational, spoken English - all in English  - in simple, easy steps.

But because I know you want something that will help you improve  your speaking right now, let me share a secret I discovered about remembering words that helped me become a fluent speaker of Japanese.

It's a simple trick taken from the world of business, not language learning, and it can help you express yourself more quickly and naturally, like natives do, today.

To discover this secret for yourself, click on the link in the upper right of this video, or on the link in the description below this video.

If you struggle to express yourself because your words disappear in conversations, take action and solve this frustrating problem by clicking on the link in the upper right of this video, or on the link in the description.

You can transform the way you speak if you let me show you how.

----------
Because 99.99% of English teachers are dumb. There are three main principles to learn speak English: Repeating,
Graduated Interval Recall, and most the important is Principle of Anticipation and actively answering questions
Only two teachers from the whole universe implemented these principles in their materials Pimsleur and Rosen Sherman. All other teacher who claim that they teach to speak English should be fined for lying and wasting student's time, because they teach listing skills but falsely claimed that they tech speaking.

We basically have two vocabularies in our mind, an active and a passiv one. The passive one is pretty much always larger than the active one and allows you to understand stuff. The active one allows you to produce stuff. This holds true even in your native language, but its even more pronounced in a foreign one.

The answer is simple : whether you listening is better than speaking is because you probably trainning your listening more than conversation . Revert the process and you will see the outcome

We can't speak fluently because speaking takes muscle. If we never open the mouths to speak, we can not speak fluently no matter how much time we listen/understand English. Anyone agrees?

eyy try using the "walkie-talkie communication app" you can find different people to talk there. There are so many english speaking people there that are bored, and you can talk to. Just find the person that your comfortable talking to. The app is like omegle but it just uses the voice.

Yes but you know practice makes perfect.
So keep trying to reach the goal. And even if you fail, try again. I know it would take a lot of times but trust me. My english was that level either. Then i tried, practised many many times so i can almost speak English😅. The whole point that i mean is Don't Give Up.
