场景：小华看到暴力事件后彻夜未眠，小红被吓得流下了眼泪，不敢相信自己所看到的一切，在惊恐中，多少人悲伤难过、愤怒，必须将这9人缉拿归案，声讨嫌疑人.....
Xiaohua：OMG！Xiaohong. I just can't believe what happened in Tangshan. I can't sleep. I feel so bad.
小华：我的天！小红，我不敢相信唐山发生的事情。我睡不着，太难受。
Xiaohong：It's horrific to see nine men brutally and savagely beat women in that way.
小红：简直骇人听闻，九个男的对女性那样肆意施暴。
Xiaohua：The girls were just dining in a BBQ restaurant. They were NOT wrong.
小华：她们就在烧烤店吃饭啊。她们哪儿错了？
Xiaohong：From the footage, the man walked over to a girl and put his hand on her back.
And when she pushed his hand away, he continued to stand over her, striking her in the face when she asked him to leave. That's sexual harassement.
小红：从监控画面看，这个男的走过去把手放在人家后背。她推开他的手，他还得劲儿了，继续威胁她。人家让他走开，他就上手打人脸。这简直就是性骚扰啊！
Xiaohua：What's worse, several more men joined the violence and attacked them with a chair and even dragged one of the girls from the BBQ restaurant by her hair. The girl lying on the ground was brutally beaten.
小华：更糟糕是，几个男的一起上，还用凳子来打她们，有个女的被抓住头发拖出去，躺在地上继续被暴打。
Xiaohong：I feel so angry and unsafe. Let's call for help. They must be in jail!
小红：愤怒！我感到好不安。我们要为她们发声！这帮人必须蹲监狱。

场景：小红心情平复一些后，在日记本上写上这样一段话。
This happened in a society where violence against women is rampant. The attack has shocked me and my country and prompted us to ask why this has happened. 这件事发生在一个对女性施以暴力猖獗的社会。这次暴力事件震惊了我和我的国家，促使我们问为什么会发生这样的事情。
The reason that these men felt they could freely assault the woman for rejecting their harassment is because so many men in the past have gone unpunished by the authorities for doing the same.
这些男性认为，他们可以自由地攻击拒绝他们骚扰的女性，因为过去有很多男性做了同样的事情，却没有受到当局的惩罚。
Is my country ill？The scum of the society must be severely punished.
我的国家病了吗？这些社会败类必须受到严惩。
