wash down
v. 冲洗;咽下，吞下;洗清，冲净
To use the force of water or another liquid to move something. A noun or
pronoun can be used between "wash" and"down."
利用水或其他液体的力量移动物体，wash和down间可以加名词或代词。
He washed down the pills with a glass of water.
他用一杯水把药丸吞下去了。
Don't wash down those bits of food in the sink—they'll clog up the drain.
不要把食物残渣在水槽里冲下去，他们会堵塞下水道的。
My neighbor washed the car down.
