一提起夏天小编就想到一个字“晒”
那么英文中怎么表达“好晒”呢？
“晒”
这个字在英文中可以解释成：
① (of the sun) to shine on (指太阳)照耀;
② to bask in (the sunshine) 沐浴在(阳光下);
③ to dry (clothes, grain etc) in the sun 在阳光下晒(衣服、谷物等);
④ (fig.) to expose and share (one's experiences and thoughts) on the Web (loanword from "share") 在网上展示和分享(某人的经验和想法);
我们今天要讨论的“晒”更针对于天气来讲，比较符合第一个解释，但其实用 shine 这个词只是比较客观地表达了太阳发出光照这一现象，至于描述“太晒”这一程度来讲，shine这个词还没有那么强烈的感觉。
比较强烈的我们可以用scorch这个词，可以说
It’s scorching today.
Scorch is a verb that means to burn something with fire. It makes sense that
days where the sun feels extremely hot, it can be described as a scorching
day.
Scorch是一个动词，意思是用火焚烧某物。阳光炽热的日子可以被描述为scorching day，就好像会烧起来一样。
也可以用我们更熟悉的 burn，就是字面的意思，皮肤被晒得好像着火了，并且造成了实际的伤害，“晒伤”了。
例：
Fair-skinned people burn easily in the sun.
白皮肤的人很容易晒伤。
皮肤晒黑这个过程叫作 tan /tæn/

to become brown, or to make someone's body or skin, etc. brown, from being in

晒成棕褐色的肤色
例：
Her skin tans very quickly in the summer.
