Because Harry Potter movies really don't have much time to tell stories about people other than the trio, many plots in Goblet of Fire have been deleted.

In the original book, Fred and George are at the center of a mysterious event, and the plot involves an important character, Ludo Bagman, who is never mentioned in the movie.

Ludo Bagman was a very popular beater in the 1980s. After his Quidditch career ended, he joined the Department of Magical Games and Sports, eventually becoming its head in 1993.
