Today - July 29 “Perhaps they’ll listen now”

July 29, 1968
Pope Paul VI declared the prohibition of birth control.
To understand why American society is polarized on abortion today, you need to learn some history about Christianity.

Today is
Rain Day
I don’t like rain very much; I don’t hate it either. But I didn’t know that Rain Day has a history of over 200 years.
Legend has it that a pharmacist named William Allison in Pennsylvania noticed it would rain on July 29 every year.
Since then, he started to record the rainfall on this date, and the rain had never had a “no-show” on July 29 for many years.

Ok, it’s a legend. Don’t take it too seriously.
Rain means a lot this year for most parts of the world struggling with the unprecedented heatwave.
Is it raining now where you are?
