pure luck指的就是“纯粹的运气”。Nothing but fate or fortune, whether good or ill (as opposed to skill, preparation, teamwork, etc.).
与能力、准备工作、团队合作等能影响结果的，且可人为控制的变量不同，pure luck是纯粹的天意或运气。而与dumb luck不同的是，pure luck带来的结果可能是好的，也可能是坏的。
