...虽然很不地道，但让我们先思考一下，“离开这个世界”用英语该怎么说呢

out of this world 当然不是离开这个世界的意思，而是：令人激动，精彩极了，绝妙的，特别是在形容音乐、电影的时候常用这个短语，你也可以用 out of this world来形容一顿非常精美的晚餐，男女之间也可以用Out of this world来形容对方。

I think this movie is out of this world -- maybe the best movie ever made!
我认为这部电影实在是太精彩了，可能是所有电影当中最好的一部。

Out of the picture 按字面来理解是某人不在那张照片里，不过当out of the picture作为习惯用语的时候，它的意思是指某人不再出现，或者退出参与某个项目或计划了。

如果你说某人out of one's mind，你的意思是他在犯蠢、失去理智了。
🌰举个例子
You spent five hundred pounds on a jacket! Are you out of your mind?

但如果out of one’s mind后面接的是with worry, grief, fear, bored等情感，那意思就是形容“非常担心、悲伤、害怕、无聊等”，也就是担心、悲伤、害怕、无聊...的要发疯了的意思。

out of (one's) depth 是指“超出某人的能力或知识范围”。
