“You're my cup of tea”

Tea is the most consumed beverage in China and has been loved by the Chinese people for thousands of years.
用英语说“给你沏杯茶”可以是“Can I make you a cup of tea?” 或 “Let me fix you a cup of tea.”

not be sb's cup of tea
1
If something is not your cup of tea, it is not the type of thing that you like.
如果某件事 not your cup of tea,意思是说这件事“非你所好;不合你的心意”。
所以如果你想用 “You're my cup of tea.
Thanks for inviting me, but ballet isn't really my cup of tea.

tea and sympathy
2
tea and sympathy 是个比较老派的英式短语,意思是 kindness and sympathy that you show to someone who is upset 向伤心不幸的人表现出的善意和同情。
It's time for action, not just tea and sympathy.

storm in a teacup
3
英式英语中会用 storm in a teacup 来表示“小题大做,大惊小怪”,而在美式英语中,同样的意思则用 tempest in a teapot 来表示。
I fail to comprehend why the advertising industry is raising such a storm in a teacup.

high tea
4
慵懒惬意的下午茶是一天里少有能忙里偷闲的时间,“下午茶,傍晚茶”就是 high tea,a light meal eaten in the late afternoon or early evening that usually includes cooked food, cakes, and tea to drink,在下午晚些时候或傍晚早些时候吃的一顿便饭,通常包括熟食、蛋糕和茶。
