🚩therefore主要用来“表示后面发生的事情是前面情况的必然结果，通常引起一个结论，所以，因此，因而”，柯林斯解释为You use therefore to introduce a logical result or conclusion.。therefore与so比较起来，therefore常用语较为正式的场合。
如：
Muscle cells need lots of fuel and therefore burn lots of calories.肌肉细胞需要很多能量，所以会燃烧大量卡路里。
