译文：
大众传媒的出现，几乎同时带来了反幸福艺术的兴起；随之兴起还有一种商业文化，在这种文化中，幸福不仅是一个理想，而且还是一种观念。
翻译思路：“and with it +名词”后面常常省略谓语
在本句话中，and with it, a commercial culture in which happiness is not just an ideal but an ideology，的语法结构略微复杂一点。这里with it是承接上文，with有“随着”的意思，it指代上文的主语The rise of anti-happy art almost exactly，所以with it的准确含义应该是“随着翻幸福艺术的兴起”。
这个句子最难理解的是后面a commercial culture是主语，它承接上文省略了相同的谓语，补充完整应该是：a commercial culture （almost exactly tracks the emergence of mass media）。a commercial culture后面的in which定语从句比较好理解。
我们不妨把“and with it+名词”当做一个公式，如果有and with it出现，后面单独跟了一个名词词组，通常这个名字词组是做主语，承前省略了and上文相同的谓语。
