最后那个宾语从句and that happiness comes not in denying this but in living with it中的代词this和it都应该指代的是上文那要记住的那几句话Memento mori: remember that you will die, that everything ends。
我翻译为：否认不如接受，幸福终会到来。得承认“否认不如接受”翻译得有点“过”，但是我想和上文的“终有一死，终会结束”在节奏上更协调一点。这样一来，否认，接受，的宾语在意义上也应该是“记住人终有一死，一切终会结束”。这样和英语原文还是算是准确的。

翻译思路：暗喻

其次，把这种悲情艺术传达出来的悲观信息与丁香眼的苦涩作比较，更苦涩。后面却说它是“一缕清风”，是一个暗喻。
