live /laɪv/ 形容词或副词，表示“现场表演的，实况直播的”，注意live的读音。和live相对的是recorded或者prerecorded，“录播的，提前录制好的”。

2. live stream
stream /striːm/ 动词，是一个计算机术语，表示将数据连续地以流的形式进行传输，简单来说就是在线看视频听音乐，一边播放一边加载，现在大部分网站都是这种形式，和stream相对的是先下载整个文件然后才能播放。
livestream /ˈlaɪv.striːm/，名词或动词，表示“网络直播”，游戏、教学、吃播等个人直播或者音乐会、赛事等大型活动都适用。这个短语也可以写作live-stream或live stream。

您可以在我们的网站上观看比赛的直播。
We will live stream the match on our website.
我们将在网站上直播比赛。
The match will be live-streamed on our website.
我们将在网站上直播比赛。
在日常口语中，如果对话双方都知道是直播，livestream可以简单说成stream，省略live。
A: I've been following his livestreams since he started performing online.

B: Yeah, he's very popular. His streams always have thousands of viewers.
嗯，他人气很高，每次直播总是有成千上万的观众。
live-stream和live-streamed都可以放在名词前，作形容词用，都表示“网络直播的”。

3. live broadcast
/ˌlaɪv ˈbrɔːd.kɑːst/ 名词短语，表示a television or radio programme that is broadcast as it happens，直播的电视或电台节目，也可以表示网络直播，不过听起来会比live stream专业正式一点，经常搭配大型赛事或者一些官方重要活动。
也可以把broadcast用作动词，broadcast sth. live。
You can watch a live broadcast of the press conference on TV.
您可以通过电视观看新闻发布会的现场直播。
The press conference will be broadcast live across Europe.
新闻发布会将在欧洲进行现场直播。
