I usually buy groceries at the supermarket near my flat. When I arrive at the supermarket, I take a shopping trolley or a basket at the entrance, depending on how many things I plan to buy.

The scale prints out barcode stickers that the staff member attaches to the bags.

At the checkout, I unload my items onto the conveyor belt and wait for the cashier to scan each product. Sometimes I use reusable shopping bags to reduce plastic waste.

There are also self-checkout machines next to the counters. I can scan the items there myself and pay with my phone to avoid queuing at the counters.
