1. “It slipped my mind.” 我忘了。
slip : /slɪp/ 滑倒；溜出
slip one's mind: 忘记
注意slipped 发音是/t/结尾，而不是/d/
例句：
I can’t believe I forgot her birthday. It completely slipped my mind!
我不敢相信我居然忘了她的生日，完全抛在脑后了！
2. “It doesn’t ring a bell.” 没印象。
bell: /bel/ 门铃
ring a bell: 按门铃；让某人想起某件事情
例句：
Ann: Does the name "TJ" ring a bell with you?
Ann: 你对TJ这个名字有印象吗？
Tim: No, not really. It doesn't ring any bell. Why did you ask?
Tim: 没有啊，没什么印象。你为什么问？
Ann: Oh, I just met him in the conference and I thought you knew him.
Ann: 噢，我在座谈会上结识了他，我以为你认识他。
3. “It's on the tip of my tougue!” 就在我嘴边！
tongue: /tʌŋ/ 舌头
on the tip of my tongue: （名字／事情）就在嘴边想不起来了
例句：
What's her name again? Her name is....It's just on the tip of my tongue!
她叫什么来着？她的名字叫....就在我嘴边上！
4. "I lost my train of thought." 我的思路被打断了
train: /treɪn/ 火车
train of thought
例句：
I was in the middle of telling him about my idea, but the phone rang and I lost my train of thought.
我正在和他说我的想法的时候，电话响了，然后我的思路被打断了。
Great. I’ve lost my train of thought, thanks!
真棒！我的思路被（你）打断了，谢谢！
5. “It went in one ear and out the other.” 左耳朵听，右耳朵出（听完就忘）
例句：
She won't remember. Everything you tell her goes in one ear and out the other!
她不会记得的。你告诉她所有的事情她都是左耳朵听右耳朵出。
