  Limiting beliefs are one of the main reasons why many people are dissatisfied with their lives and get frustrated. It is also the main reason why many people are stuck living the same life every single day. I have experienced a lot of limiting beliefs in the past and I still do right now, however I have learned how to understand my mind better to deal with these useless thoughts notice how I mentioned useless thoughts.
  受限心理(Limiting belief)是许多人对现实生活感到不满和沮丧的主要原因。它也是许多人接受了单调重复的生活的主要原因。我过去经历过很多有受限心理的时候,现在也是。但是我已经学会了如何更深入了解自己的内心,并处理掉这些没用的思想。

  The reason you get limiting beliefs
  Many of the limiting beliefs that you have right now are programmed in your mind because of the past experiences that you have encountered. Some of those experiences are always appearing in your mind and they aren’t very pleasant. It may be a thought of a close friend or family member constantly crtitisizing you or a co worker or your boss giving you an identity that isn’t really alligned with who you truly are. This, of course is just one example.

  Many of the limiting beliefs you encounter are also programmed in you based on the environment that you were brought up in when you were a child. You may have been brought up in an environment where there weren’t many educated and successful people around you. Unfortunately, what ends up happening is that people that are brought up in an environment where there aren’t many successful people around start believing that life is suppose to be that way and that that is how everyone is. Beliefs than get harder to change once you reach your adulthood. (although it is possible for anyone to change their thinking at any time).

There is a world out there that you need access to and you need to know how to position your psychology to get past your barriers and just be the rock star of your life.

  State of Mind
  The state of mind you currently are in determines what you are going to attract into your life and your level of success. When you are in a state of mind where you are constantly pessimistic, complaining, or you constantly tell yourself, “I CANT DO THIS OR THAT”, your frame of mind is in a very negative state. You are constantly waking up complaining, whining, or criticizing. When you are in this state of mind, you are immediately sending signals to your brain and stopping your creativity from working. When your brain gets negative signals it generates a belief system for you which gets programmed in you. When you get used to that belief, you keep thinking life is suppose to be the way it is at the current moment. For example, if you are around people that are always criticizing other people or are jealous, you will think that that is how everyone in life is. You will program your mind to be in that STATE. If you are not careful this can be toxic.

  What you need to do is be at a state that puts you in a frame that constantly brings you success. You have to discipline your emotions, body, and mind to do this. Next time you start your day, be aware of what you are thinking and feeling. Also, be aware of how you communicate and what you say to people. Make sure that you feel the high energy deep within. When you can put your body at a state where you are full of energy inside, people will feel it outside. Your mind will also get positive signals that will keep you at a healthy state. When you are in this healthy frame, your creativity and confidence will sky rocket. This means NO MORE LIMITING BELIEFS. Limiting beliefs constantly get to us because our body’s state is not at peak. When your body’s energy level is not at peak state, you feel insecure and doubtful about your capabilities.

  Mental Reframing
  When you mentally reframe an experience or an image, it means that you are changing the way that you perceive it. Let me give you an example; I am sure you have been through a very rough experience in the past (it happens to everyone). Maybe you experienced being criticized or someone telling you that “you are nothing and that you are worthless”. Successful people have the capability of taking negative experiences and reframing them so that they can see opportunity instead of being disappointed. When you change the perception of a negative experience and use it towards your advantage, your mind will automatically be programmed to perform at a peak level. When I cold call on my sales calls, I go through a lot of rejection. However, I have trained my mind to treat every rejection as a positive experience because I learn more about what customers want. Rejection to me means that I am growing mentally and emotionally (great for the human body by the way!). I hope you see where I am getting at here.

More than 2500 people were asked which would make them happier - a job which paid ?50,000 with 'reasonable' hours allowing them 7.5 hours sleep or one paying ?90,000 with 'unusual' hours allowing them just six hours sleep.

  一,阅读:
  
  精读一本原版小说。刚入门总会有一点困难。开始学习的时候,先选择一本难度不太高的小说,比如,儿童读物,童话故事。打个比方,比如说《小飞侠》(《彼得.潘》),读起来词汇不会太复杂,但又引人入胜,趣味盎然。这样的经典小说已经被翻拍成了电影甚至动画片,学的时候可以先在网上下载这些影视素材来先看一遍,这样对整个故事梗概有了解之后读起来会更有针对性。
  
  读的时候,值得注意的是纯正的英文表达,积累书中的生单词,句型和思维方式。这对培养语感非常重要。同时,你也可以放一本小说的中译版在旁边,看到不懂的地方可以参考对照地读一下,看看中文版中的说法,思考如果要你自己翻译成英文,你会翻译成什么样子,再把自己的“中式英语”和原文中的纯正英语做比较,在对比中学到纯正的英语。如此以往的积累,自己的词汇,语感,阅读速度和理解能力都会有大幅度的提高。
  
  现在的英语原版书籍在外文书店都可以买到,如果觉得价格较贵,你也可以在卓越网上买,经典小说由于出版时间很早,价格都不会太贵。买一本,精读下来,细细的品味,一定能收获到很多。这样要比你在网上看英语文章,读英语报刊那么走马观花的浏览,一定更有收获!
  
  二,听力:
  
  提高听力能力,一定不要忘记借助现在网络资源。你可以下载5部你喜欢的外国电影,按照以下方法看:第一遍,借助中文字幕看一遍,看明白。第二遍,借助中英对照的字幕看一遍,注意一些英文说法。第三遍,对照英文字幕看,一边看一边把自己放到纯英文环境中去体味。第四遍,用第三遍的方法再看一遍。第五遍,关掉字幕,盯着画面,完全用耳朵去听。
  
  现在在网上基本上都有独立的字幕(中文或者英文,或者双语)可以下载,你可以在视频播放器的字幕选项中,导入你需要的字幕。甚至有专门的字幕网站。搜一下你就知道了。
  
  通过这样的方式,你的耳朵会慢慢跟上英语的节奏,电影(一定是要你喜欢的电影)听上这么几遍,听力“感觉”一定会提高。
  
  在此之后,上大耳朵英语网,或普特英语网,上面有无数的英语音频资源,有新鲜的英美新闻播报,你每天把自己的耳朵在上面磨一磨,听不懂就多听几遍,多听几遍还是听不懂,就对照网上的文本,一百分的任务,做到了一半,你也进步了50分。
  
  
  三,词汇,作文:
  
  词汇不要抱着生词书背。因为背了之后,你也很难知道怎么去用,记忆里不使用的东西,不久后就会忘却。
  
  推荐的方法是,在“用”中去学。每周给自己布置一个自己感兴趣的话题,给自己规定一个空白的时间,围绕这个论题写篇英语小文,写的时候你就知道自己到底有哪些词汇哪些表达不会了。这个时候,再借助词汇书,语法书,句型书。去搜集、比较不同的用法,选择最好的。写好之后最好能把写好的文章给英语水平比自己高的老师或者学姐学长,请他们为自己修改,这样才能保证进步的方向是正确的。
  
  这个过程中学到的词汇句型才是记得最牢的。当在你再使用的时候,你就可以信手拈来,不需再在脑海中纠结了。
  
  另外平时也要多积累这样的语言素材。最经典的素材莫过于新概念英语了,选取高于你语言水平的一册,有事没事的时候读两篇,勾画出里面的一些有用的句型,用法,看看下次你写文章的时候是否用得上。
  
  
  四,口语:
  
  口语练习是比较麻烦的一个。因为很多时候自己觉得自己在说,好不容易把意思磕磕巴巴的表达出来了,结果在真正的实战场合和别人交流时,才发现自己词不达意,对方根本没明白。
  
  这不一定是别人听力有问题,而很可能是自己表达不到位。练习口语的场合很重要,很多时候,自己一个人闭关练习,效果难显著。
  
  当然,如果你坚持选择自学,最好的方法是,对着镜子做presentation自述。具体方法是:在阅读了一篇有料的英语文章之后,把原文扔到一边,试着用自己的话去复述文章的内容,实在说不出来的时候,再看看原文,记下纯正的说法,再用自己的嘴巴表达出来。
  
  相对来讲,好一点的方法是你找一个英语学习的语伴,两个人经常在一起练习英语对话。你来我往中可以发现更多自己表达中的问题。多说,这才是最重要的。有句话叫做“If you don’t speak English , how can you speak English?”这个就是很平实的真理。给自己创造一些场合去说。说得再拙劣,都要比不说好。
  
  条件允许的话,可以参加现在市面上的口语培训班,毕竟学习英语的最终目的是要跟外国人交流,不如早点把自己放到实际的交流环境中。口语培训班大部分是外教小班课,课上有很多机会给你张口“说”英语,说的不对或者不好时,有人给你立即指出,告诉你更好的表达方法。
  
  现在的外语口语培训学校都是即到即学,学习时间也很灵活,工作日的晚上和双休日的整天,你都可以按照自己的时间来预约课程。虽说学费相比自学有些高,但是,看你自己选择了,如果你是个不需要周围的学习环境来激励你,不需要外教和老师辅佐你学习的人,自学也是个不错的选择。
  
  
  五,突击英语面试有捷径:
  
  实际地来讲,英语面试的面试官大部分情况都是中国人。受到中国式思维的框架限制,英语面试上的问题其实很局限,分类来讲不会脱离以下几个主题。
  
  每个主题的内容都需要你自己的在面试中用自己的嘴巴说出来,所以,你大可在进考场之前,就把这些内容背得个滚瓜烂熟,到时候,就可以胸有成竹咯。而这内容怎么准备,你可以参考上方文字中的准备方法。下面是八九不离十的问题分类。
  
  1. 自我介绍。
  2. 你为什么选择来这里。
  3. 你有什么优点,有什么优势?我们为什么要用你?
  4. 你性格里面有什么特点?
  5. 你周围的人怎么描述你?用几个词回答。
  6. 你最骄傲的成就是什么?
  7. 你遭遇过什么失败?
  8. 你对工作的期待是怎样的?
  9. 你之前的工作是什么?你为什么选择离开?

From giving a toast at a wedding, to giving a presentation to coworkers, public speaking is eminent in a productive life. The only question is, are you ready for it?

  If you are part of the majority, you probably are not ready, so here are a few tips to help you out:

  1) Be prepared. Remember, he who fails to prepare, prepares to fail.

  3) Have a general outline for what you are going to say. Do not try to read from your notes word for word as this produces a boring speech in which you are not looking at your audience. It is always a good idea to know what you are saying, but reading directly from a written speech produces more errors and is boring.

  4) Look at your audience. You need to not just look in one spot as well; but instead look around the room at your entire audience. Caution! When doing this, avoid the sprinkler affect. That is, do not continuously pan your gave from one side of the room to the next, but distribute your attention to different members in the audience.

  5) In opening remarks, you need to come out strong. You need an attention grabber. This can range from a short defiant statement, to an anecdote that involves your subject.

  6) Use appropriate hand gestures and props in your presentation or speech.

  9) Get to the point. When you ramble on about topics it is more likely that you are losing your audience. If you are making an important statement or point, declare it with as few words as possible.

  10) In your closing, leave the audience with something to think about. Do not close with a feeble "thank you," but instead, close with a statement that will let your audience know you are finished.

  "他精力充沛"美国人通常说:"He is bouncy.",而不说"He is energetic",牢记一些日常对话中的句式是你生活中一把必备的钥匙。如:久仰,"I get mind of you"比"I heard a lot about you."轻松得多。
  3. Did you get lost?
  有人开会迟到了,你若对他说"You are late.",听起来像是废话。若说"Did you get lost?",则更能让他感到歉疚,可千万别说成"Get lost!",那可是让人滚蛋的意思。
  4. Do you have the time?
  别人征求你的意见,问能否开窗户等,你要是说"You can do that."就有点土了,用一句"Do you have the time?"就好多了。实际上,问他人的姓名,地址都可以这么用:"May I have your name?"要比"What's your name?"礼貌得多,不过警察例外。
  5. I would rather not say.
  别人问你不愿公开的问题,切勿用"It's my secret, don't ask such a personal question."回答,一来显得你没有个性,二来也让对方觉得你气短。你可以说"I would rather not say."(还是别说了吧)。
  6. It's on the tip of my tongue.
  有时候,你想说什么,可是想不起来,你可以说"Well…"、"Let me see."、"Just a moment."或"It's on the tip of my tongue."等。相比之下,最后一个句型是最地道的。
  7. While I remember…
  交谈时,你可能会转换话题,不要只说"By the way",实际上,"To change the subject"、"Before I forget"、"While I remember"、"Mind you"都是既地道又受欢迎的表达。
  8. I got it.
