这句习语其实有三个含义。
1️⃣我们先来看这句习语的第一个意思，它的意思是“money that is not real, for example because it has been
illegally printed or created for a game”，即“假币，假钞”。
例句：
Whoever makes funny moneywill end up in jail.
不论谁制造假钞，最后都是坐牢。
2️⃣第二个意思的“money whose value has been artificially increased, or money that is
not worth as much as it appears to be”，即“币值低(或不稳定)的货币”。
例句：
Stock options were seen as funny money, enabling you to promise vast
compensation to your employees .
股票期权被视为一笔价值不稳定的钱，它能让你向员工承诺巨额薪酬。
3️⃣第三个意思是“a price or amount of money that is so large that it seems completely
unreasonable”，即“来路不明的钱”。
例句：
The money he gave us was seen asfunny money.
他给我们的钱被视为是一笔来路不明的钱。
