There be 句型是我们学习英语时最先学的句型之一,毕竟非常常用,今天我们学习一下 there be 在口语中的各种应用吧~

There are plenty more fish in the sea. 这句话 used to tell someone whose relationship has ended that there are many other people that they could have a relationship with 最常用来安慰失恋的人,意思是“还有很多合适的人(或机会)”,别在一棵树上吊死,至于这句话的效果...只能说因人而异吧
There are plenty more fish in the sea. 是英式英语的说法,在美式英语更常用 there are plenty of fish in the sea. 除了用来劝失恋的人,有时候这句话还可以用来表示“还有其他机会可以利用。”

If there is no holding someone (back), they do something eagerly and cannot be stopped. 如果 there is no holding sb (back),他们会急切地做一些事情,而且无法阻止,也就是“什么也拦不住(某人)”。

There you go 是英语中很常用的口语之一,有两种含义,一是:给你;拿去吧,二是:没关系,让它去吧,让我们从例句中感受一下两种含义的不同吧。
🌰 举个例子:
There you go - I knew you'd forget if you didn't write it down.
看,我就知道你不把它写下来会忘记的。
We didn't win the competition, but there you go - we can always try again next year.
比赛我们没有赢,不过没关系——明年我们可以再争取。

不过 There you go again 的含义就大不相同了,意思是 a way of emphasizing that an action is often repeated “(某人)又来这一套了”。

There they go again, making trouble.
他们又来这一套了,尽找麻烦。

There'll be hell to pay 是一个有点“危险”的句子,意思是 something you say that means someone will be very angry if something happens,要惹大麻烦。
🌰 举个例子:
There'll be hell to pay if she doesn't get the money in time.
如果她没有及时拿到钱,那可就有大麻烦了。
