bad hair day 并不是单单指头发乱糟糟的一天，而是 a day when you feel that you do not look attractive, especially because of your hair, and everything seems to go wrong，你觉得自己看起来没有吸引力，尤其是因为你的头发不好看，然后一切似乎都不对劲的一天，也就是“很不顺利的一天，倒霉的日子”。

get in sb's hair 也是口语中的说法，意思是 to annoy someone, usually by being present all the time，（因不断打搅而）使（某人）厌烦。

keep your hair on （让你的头发待在你头上？）是英式口语中的说法，用来 said to tell someone to stop being so angry or upset，告诉某人不要再生气或沮丧。

中文中有“怒发冲冠”，英语口语中有 make sb's hair stand on end，不过怒发冲冠是因为愤怒，让 make sb's hair stand on end 某人头发站起来，是因为“令（某人）非常害怕，使（某人）毛骨悚然”。

If someone does not have a hair out of place, their appearance is very neat.
如果有人 not a hair out of place，那么他们的外表就很整洁。
not a hair out of place 没有一根头发不在正确的位置，意思是“非常整洁”。
