英语口语中 name your poison 的意思其实就是问问你“你想喝点什么酒？”，有时也会问 what's your poison? 都是一样的意思。

poison 是欧标中B2水平的单词，除了我们都知道作为名词指“毒；毒药，毒物”的意思；poison 作为动词我们还需要知道两种含义：“毒杀，毒害，使中毒”和“使（水、空气等）受污染”。

toxic 与 poisonous 是同义词，同样也是B2水平单词，意思是“有毒的；引起中毒的”。比如：toxic waste/chemicals/effluent 有毒的废料／化学品／废水。
🌰 举个例子
