in safe hands 的理解也容易出错，它其实是指“受到妥善照管；由专业人员处理”，与它意思相近的是 in safe keeping，指的是“得到很好地照顾”。

it's safe to say (that) 不是可以安全地说，而是“可以肯定的说”，用来表示对将要说的话很有信心。

同样可以表示肯定的是 be a safe bet，指的是“肯定会发生的事”。

play (it) safe 的意思是“谨慎行事，不冒险”，它与 (just) to be on the safe side 的意思相近，也是指“谨慎起见；以防万一”。
