大家对Labor Day holiday不陌生，指的是劳动节假期。labor（或者写成labour)，可以作为不可数名词，表示——
【释义1】[U]n. 劳动；（尤指）体力劳动
牛津：work, especially physical work
【例句】
The price will include the labour and materials. 此价格中包含人工费和材料费。
The company wants to keep down labour costs .公司想保持低劳动成本。
还可以表示“劳动者”
