tick作动词时，表示“打勾”、“标记号”。
我们填写表格时，常需要像下图这样，在符合条件的方框里打勾，英文就叫“tick the box".
把所有的方框都打勾，tick all the boxes，常用来描述一个人或者事物符合所有要求、条件。

Whenever we say that something "ticks all the/my/our boxes", it means it fulfils all the criteria for something. （符合所有标准）
【例句】
I absolutely love my current job! It’s challenging, it’s flexible. I like my colleagues and it is well-paid. It ticks all the boxes!

使用时，the可以用形容词性物主代词（my/ your/ his/ her/ its/ our/ their) 替换。比如：to tick all my boxes、to tick all his boxes。
