今天是立春（Start of Spring)，看到不少北方朋友晒春饼，“咬春”。
那就打开脑洞，看一个和吃相关的词吧。
大家吃饺子是蘸醋还是蘸酱油呀？不管是动词“蘸”还是名词“蘸料”，都可以用dip。
【释义1】v, 蘸；浸
牛津：sth (into sth)~ sth (in)to put sth quickly into a liquid and take it out again
【释义2】n, 调味酱（用食物来蘸着吃）
牛津：a thick mixture into which pieces of food are dipped before being eaten
【例句】
He dipped the brush into the paint. 他拿画笔蘸了蘸颜料。（动词）
The fruit had been dipped in chocolate. 这水果蘸过巧克力酱。(动词）
We load our table for two with pickles, a cheese, chilli and tomato dip and a bean salad.我们为两人桌准备了泡菜、奶酪、辣椒和西红柿蘸酱，还有一份豆类沙拉。（名词）
但是，换个语境，如果还把dip当蘸料，就离谱了。比如上图新华社的报道——profits dip。是什么意思呢？
