“It’s not necessarily that women don’t cope as well. It’s just that they have so much more to cope with,” says Dr. Yehuda.
cope //v.
It’s not necessarily that women don’t cope as well.
其一,它是一个强调句,强调的是状语部分not necessarily(未必,不一定)。
It’s just that they have so much more to cope with这个句子中的It’s just that… You use the expression it's just that when you are making a complaint, suggestion, or excuse, so that the person you are talking to will not get annoyed with you.
I'm sorry I struck you. Ididn't mean to. It's just that I was so mad..
Your hair is all right; it's just that you need a haircut.

“Their capacity for tolerating stress may even be greater than men’s,” she observes, “it’s just that they’re dealing with so many more things that they become worn out from it more visibly and sooner.”
tolerate //v.
visibly //adv.
“Their capacity for tolerating stress may even be greater than men’s,(第一个并列分句)” //she observes(主句),// “it’s just that they’re dealing with so many more things (第二个并列分句的主句部分和that引导的表语从句)//that they become worn out from it more visibly and sooner(that结构状语从句).”
