任务。
🚩task是“上级交给的任务，或者自己愿意做的工作，尤其是困难的或者讨厌的任务”，牛津词典解释为piece of (especially hard or unpleasant) work that has to be done。
如：
Walker had the unenviable task of breaking the bad news to Hill...沃克不得不把这个坏消息告诉希尔。
She used the day to catch up with administrative tasks.她白天忙着处理行政工作。
🚩assignment是“布置的作业，分配的任务，一般是上司分给的可能是限期完成的工作”，柯林斯解释为An assignment is a task or piece of work that you are given to do, especially as part of your job or studies.。
如：
The assessment for the course involves written assignments and practical tests.这门功课的考核包括书面作业和实际操作考试。
🚩chore是指“日常琐事，例行公事”，柯林斯解释为A chore is a task that you must do but that you find unpleasant or boring.。它还指“琐碎的家务活，家庭琐事”，柯林斯解释为Chores are tasks such as cleaning, washing, and ironing that have to be done regularly at home.。
如：
She sees exercise primarily as an unavoidable chore.她基本上把锻炼看做是不得不做的琐事。

🚩duty是指“职务所在该干的事情，职责，本职工作”，柯林斯解释为Your duties are tasks which you have to do because they are part of your job. 它也可以指“道义上应尽的义务，责任，本分”，柯林斯解释为If you say that something is your duty, you believe that you ought to do it because it is your responsibility.。

🚩stint是“按照时间比例而分配的一段时期的工作，固定期限的工作，工作时间，活动时间”，柯林斯解释为A stint is a period of time which you spend doing a particular job or activity or working in a particular place.。
